Due to baseball being back and a record 43 Cubans invited to Major League Spring Training it’s time to Get Inside the Dugout. Because The Chicago White Sox & Houston Astros have been aggressive in signing Cuban players in recent years they lead in invites. I also wrote about the Astros Cuban Connections here.

Yoelqui Céspedes left Cuba in 2019 and received $2 million dollars to sign with the White Sox. He will become a top prospect in their system. He is the half brother of Yoenis Céspedes and possesses many of the same athletic tools. Because of this he ranked as the #1 International Prospect in 2020. Teams decreased spending has led to Many Veteran players competing for jobs or still looking for work. A positive Corona Virus test made the Atlanta Braves void a 2020 contract offer to Yasiel Puig. Due to this the former Elephant is still searching for a team. Because of his relative youth and athleticism a team has to take a chance on the Wild Horse.
