My introduction to Roberto came in 2015. He was a member of the expansion Ottawa Champions of the CanAm League. Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3 where we discuss what led him to Canada and why he didn’t end up with the New York Mets. Language often acts as a barrier but Roberto has become fully bilingual and conducted the full interview in English.
