What happened in game four
Pinar del Río won game four 5–3 on 24 February, levelling the semifinal at two games each. It was the closest game of the series and the last one Pinar would win.
Granma answered with 12–4 the next day and 13–3 on 27 February to take the round four games to two. Across the six games the Alazanes scored ten or more three times; Pinar’s two wins were a 13–3 blowout in game two and this three-run night.
Where this sits in the 2021 postseason
Granma went on to beat defending champions Matanzas four games to two in the final, clinching 6–5 on 4 April 2021 for the province’s second Serie Nacional title.
